There’s no shortage of Memorial Day events in Pittsburgh! Here’s just a sampling of what the city has to offer.

LionFire Festival: On May 27th and 28th, enjoy this family-friendly festival that features nightly firework displays at the Cooper’s Lake Campgrounds. Enjoy live music as you watch fireworks display creators face off in a flashy competition.

PyroFest: Another option for fireworks, PyroFest runs the same dates as LionFire and features a variety of pyrotechnic displays with food and entertainment. This one also takes place at Cooper’s Lake Campground, so you can see the fun from either side.

Outdoor Extravaganza: Head to Breakneck Campground for a weekend of outdoor fun, including evening entertainment and meals, camping, and a variety of recreational activities such as hiking the trails or biking.

Memorial Day Car Cruise: Show off your car during this cruise organized in Hookstown, starting at the Hookstown Fairgrounds. Meet up at noon for lunch and then head out on your journey.

Memorial Day Services: Looking for something a little more solemn and honorable on Memorial Day? Pay your respects to vets and fallen troops at Homewood Cemetery on Sunday morning.
