With the new 2019 Buick Regal Avenir trim, Buick has officially expanded its ultra-luxury Avenir moniker to four models. Buick models are already luxurious and sophisticated in style, comfort, and technology; the range-topping Avenir trim serves to add heightened luxury.
And the Avenir trim is certainly resonating with drivers. Sales of the Avenir-branded models have exceeding Buick’s expectations, according to Phil Brook, the vice president of Buick and GMC Marketing. In fact, the Avenir trim has accounted for 20 percent of all Enclave sales in the US since its introduction, while the Avenir trim for the LaCrosse is selling 70 percent faster than any other trims.
Buick has upped the ante with the new Buick Regal Avenir trim. The new model debuts Buick’s first cloud-connected Infotainment System, which enables embedded apps and makes it easier for drivers and passengers to interact with features like navigation, voice technology, and profiles.
The Avenir trim also offers exclusive features like a Whisper Beige interior theme with diamond quilt-stitched front seats, Ebony accents, Avenir-scripted sill plates, and embroidered first-row headrests. On the outside, the Avenir features a 3D mesh upper grille, Avenir script badging, and exclusive Pearl Nickel wheels.
“Innovation comes standard with Avenir,” remarked Chris Hay, Product and Pricing director, Buick and GMC. “It is a place for us to showcase our latest ideas to promote occupant well-being before we roll them out to other vehicles in our portfolio. The Enclave Avenir was the first Buick with Evonik Acrylite exterior lighting, a Rear Camera Mirror and an ionizer, and now Buick’s latest infotainment interface will come standard with the Regal Avenir.”
