- Market Square – The Market Square holds the Peoples Gas Holiday Market every year. The event aims to copy a traditional German Christkindlmarkt, complete with rows of vendors selling high-quality handmade gifts. A Yule Haus selling German fare and Women of the Cloud Forest Area are two new additions to the lineup this year. The light display boasts more than 150,000-holiday lights and a 30-foot sphere tree with a musical light show every half hour.
- Pennsylvania Trolley Museum – Attend the annual Santa Trolley on weekdays at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. Visitors can take a ride on a restored 1926 vintage trolley to tour the facility and displays. And kids can enjoy snacks, holiday crafts, and check out the large LEGO train display.
- Kennywood Amusement Park – The Kennywood Amusement Park holds an annual Festival of the Lights on weekday evenings and is located just outside of Pittsburgh. Over one million lights and family activities are just a few of the main attractions. Children can write letters to Santa and receive a response shortly after.
