The long-gone Saturn brand’s Redline trims were the pinnacle of high-octane performance. The popular models left the market years ago, but now Chevrolet is looking at bringing them back in all their glory. Chevrolet’s Redline trims made their official production debut at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show and left enthusiasts raving with excitement.
Chevrolet first showed off the Redline trims in the form of concept vehicles at the 2015 SEMA Show. Now, the fastest-growing brand is looking to bring the Redline treatment to a total of nine vehicles across the lineup.
The special edition models mark the official return of the Redline name. The new package will feature black wheels with red hash marked and black nameplates with a red outline, and black grilles and bowtie logos.
Some models will feature unique styling cues. The Camaro Redline, for example, will feature red hash marks above the wheels, a nod to Chevrolet’s motorsports division. Both the Silverado and Colorado will feature red tow hooks. Other models that will see the Redline package include the Cruze, both sedan and hatchback, Malibu, Traverse, Equinox, and Trax.
The first model to hit dealership lots will be the Silverado Redline, which is available for order now!
