Jon Bon Jovi is still going strong at the age of 55, and his most recent performance in Pittsburgh is evidence of that. The music legend put on a show at the PPG Paints Arena and one lucky fan got to join him on stage. As it turns out, Bon Jovi couldn’t have chosen a better person to bring on stage than Brad Evanovich.
The Bon Jovi band recently put on a concert in Pittsburgh for the first time since 2013. Unfortunately, Bon Jovi’s voice wasn’t quite up to par this time. The singer stopped the concert to admit he didn’t think he was singing well and apologized. He went on to state that he’d been battling a cold prior to the show.
“This is the day when I need a karaoke singer,” said Bon Jovi. “Which one of you guys in a bar band knows all the words to Bon Jovi songs?”
It was then that Evanovich took the stage and sang “Born to Be My Baby” to near perfection.
Prior to the 2013 show, Bon Jovi put on an epic performance for two sold-out performances in 2010.
We at Wright Chevrolet Buick GMC tip our hats to Evanovich for putting on a memorable performance at the Jon Bon Jovi concert.
